Interesting title and the film too ..
I think what Anne Hathaway potrayed in this film is so natural that you get engrossed in the film since the first scene..
And talking about Meryl Steep, she has just nailed the role.. the way she picked up that bossy, arrogant, celebrity character in this film is phenomenal.. and this thing I must appreciate about major of the Hollywood films that they write the characters so well and they must be working so hard to cast the actors fitting to their films’ roles..
Because the appearance, style, walk, talk, in the first 1 minute defines the capacity in which the actor has gulped the narration and requirement of the film.. and I must tell you, the same is true for this film too.. they’ve created a fashion magazine office, their employees’s working style, behaviour, language.. all perfectly matches with the audiences image expectation through what they read or see from around..
And the costume designer, makeup artists too have done wonderful job to match up to the director’s thoughts and vision.. and that makes a film interesting enough to watch and enjoyable and resulting into a great entertaining experience for the audience.
I’m sure after making this film, while watching on the editing desk after completion of it, the makers would have been pretty confident that this film will definitely work.. and that’s true too, the film worked – for me and for many..
I give thumbs up to this film.. enjoyable, more of relatable..

Note: I’m surprised to know that for this film Meryl Streep gets numerous awards for both categrories. – Best Actress & Best Supporting Actress.. great..
