The Hero comes out of one’s heroic attitude. And this hero is that boy who had nothing but an attitude of desire, dedication & determination, which made him the HERO – Captain America.
I really liked the concept. The backdrop of War in 40’s. And the boy who’s physically incapable of getting in army but his iron steady attitude made him do it. And especially that sci fi experiment which helped him become America’s super hero.
Apart from classic special effects, the film has an emotional value too which insures interest in viewer and likability towards the super hero.
I really liked the full fantasy merged with the reality of that 40’s era. But reaching towards the second half of the film I somehow felt like they over did it. The sci fi level is good but 40’s era and the technology they’re showing somehow seems difficult for mind the match.
Other good things are the military background is shown really well. Tommy Lee Johns on screen presence only gives warmth to the film. The love interest of the super hero too looks convincing.
I liked the emotional part better than the overdo Sci fi part of the film
3.5/5
