Just now completed another Hollywood flick – Eternals.
These days I’m like binge watching Hollywood movies, especially superheroes. Marvel should consider my likings 🙂
I was curious as it created a stir since trailer/teaser release as Indian senior actor was in it, Harish Patel. Lot of his interviews were published. Which incurred high interest in me too..
So got a chance to watch it today, and let me talk about this film
Review
As the name suggests they are eternals and living since 5000 BC. stuck in the same body, same planet, no growth and also living silent/covert life with humans.
I mistook the word Eternals with Immortals, but they too are mortals and this creates confusion here. As in some scenes we can see this irony.
The film is very good at special effects and the star cast too is unique and attractive. After a long time Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek is in a Hollywood film and that too sharing the screen space. The fans were excited. So do I.
The story is from another planet and coming to our planet. Won’t tell you much of it to preserve your entertainment if you wish to watch it.
Honestly, this film fell short in satisfying the creative and imaginative side of mine as a movie buff and as a Marvel fan.
They try to merge mythology with the fiction and imagination and that could’ve been resulted in a ‘marvellous film. Here this film is a bit advanced for a simple viewer. But the effects would make everybody happy.
This film could have been better.
