Hey there! How’s everyone doing? I hope you’re enjoying the rain. Yes, you heard that right… the rain!
For countless years, we’ve been hearing the same old line that ‘on June 15th monsoon will arrive’. It’s almost as if the weather department just goes through the motions every year, isn’t it? And then, we all know when the rain actually starts… don’t we?
But this year, nature’s mood seems to be different. It’s as if Mother Nature herself decided, “No, this time, we have to honor the same old declaration!” And honestly, the rain that started on midJune has truly been gracing us with its presence, a little bit every day. It means the official arrival of the monsoon is genuinely felt. Somewhere heavy, somewhere light, but a trailer is certainly playing daily. This, my friends, is what you call ‘keeping a promise’!
This time, the season’s temperament felt a bit off – the cold lingered, but summer seemed to arrive early. April saw the mercury soaring, and May was nothing short of a fiery inferno! Perhaps that’s why the monsoon came earlier than usual (and exactly as per the regular announcements!). Well, whatever happened, it’s a good thing! My soul, tired from the heat, has finally found some solace.
Even now, as I write this, I’m sitting right by the window, and it’s drizzling outside. You might be wondering why I’m so quiet? What can I say? The sound of the rain is just magical.
Someone once said:
“Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet.”
And as they say:
“The best thing one can do when it’s raining is to let it rain.” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
So, let’s all bask in the joy of this earth right now. Whether you’re getting drenched, enjoying some hot Chai-pakoras, or just sitting peacefully like me, letting the rain fall.
Catch you again with more chatter soon!
Yours truly,
Vishal.
