I just settled down with an Amazon Original film on Prime named ‘Upgraded‘, and let me tell you, it was exactly the kind of beautiful love story our February season craves! Honestly, the folks behind this film must have been masterminds, because releasing it now? Pure genius! What’s better than the entire season conspiring to make your movie a hit, right? It just works.

Now, I know what you might be thinking. “Vishal, another love story on a plane? Seen that before!” And you’re not wrong, but trust me, this one delivers a surprisingly fresh spin. There’s this wonderful “artistic” touchwoven throughout the narrative that elevates it, giving it a unique feel you don’t always find. And the characters? Oh, they’re simply perfectly cast, almost as if they were born just to tell this tale. Every single person on screen just fits, making the whole experience feel wonderfully cohesive.

But if I had to pick one shining star, it’s hands down Ana, brought to life by the incredible Camila Mendes.
